I created Haunted Insight for several reasons, one main reason being the celebration of others in our field. I have some very close friends in the paranormal, I idolise many, and to be honest, I wanted to give a little something back. Today was one of those opportunities, to give a little back for someone that has helped me a huge amount.

The first ever contact that I had with Paul was via a message he sent me on Facebook, he asked if I wanted to write for Haunted Magazine. Now, for anyone that writes/blogs within the paranormal, I think it’s safe to say that Haunted Magazine is the pinnacle of platforms for your work to be showcased. At first, I thought to myself, it just can't be that easy, but it was, there was no motive, no underlying reasoning, I sent an article and it was published! The first time I ever witnessed my words and images in print will be a moment that I’ll never forget. I’m someone that doubts myself, but one thing that I’ve learnt is, if you believe in Paul, then he’ll fight for YOU!

I’m sure that you’ve checked out the Haunted Magazine feature by now, and also The Haunted Guy, but if you haven’t then get straight on it after this! As a team, Paul and Andy are formidable, the ideas and design from both have transferred perfectly into Haunted Live, of which Paul is a key component. Without his extreme jumpiness, perfectly timed Dad jokes and his ever-vanishing hats, it just wouldn’t be the same. It’s a huge honour and pleasure to be able to work alongside Paul in pretty much everything that I do in this field, it gives me an endless supply of jokes and I now have a hat for every occasion!

Right, I’ve praised him enough, now time for a few faults that I’ve picked up on over the past four years. I’ll start with the biggie, he likes pineapple on his pizza! I mean come on! Why? I don’t know what else to say on that one, so I’ll move on. His other main fault - he’s just too bloody kind to be honest! It’s not really a fault I’d admit. What he does for others is heart-warming. He forever scours social media and the internet for up and coming writers/investigators/paranormal enthusiasts in order to help get their work into the public eye. Not only that, but he’s been known to tackle the odd events company of which many like to take money and rip off paying customers before disappearing into the abyss. If only we had more like him in the wonderful world of the paranormal!

The Magazine will always be Paul’s pride and joy, and so it should. In a field where everyone ‘appears’ to have conquered and done everything there is to do, very few can back it up. I’m sure I speak for many when I say this, but I class Paul as a very good friend and colleague, the Magazine is lucky to have your enthusiasm driving it, and Haunted Live are fortunate to be able to call you a part of the team. I know this year is HUGE for Haunted Magazine as you will be celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary, the paranormal world wish you all the best, it wouldn’t be the same without you!

If you'd like to follow Paul and the Haunted Magazine journey then make sure that you connect with him via the links at the top of the page, but beware, you are in for some of the greatest worst jokes of all time!
